How winners are verified and published
A winner is contacted using the email address and phone number given at the time of purchase. Government-issued photo identification is required; a health card is not accepted. Prizes are paid by cheque in Canadian dollars, and unclaimed prizes are held for six months.
Half of every dollar of sales goes to the winner. The other half stays in Kenora, as equipment. This is a stock photograph of equipment of that kind, not a picture of Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
