Buy 50/50 tickets

Three steps: pick a pack, confirm you are 18 or older and in Ontario, then complete the purchase on the AGCO-approved ticket platform. This website never takes a payment and never issues a ticket number — that is the licensed vendor’s job, and it is what makes the ticket valid.

What you need before you start

  • You are 18 years of age or older.
  • You are physically located in Ontario right now, with location services switched on. A VPN or proxy makes the ticket void.
  • An email address, so the vendor can send your official ticket.
  • Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Cash is accepted at the Foundation office only.

Step 1 — choose a pack

The same four packs apply to every draw in this licence cycle. Numbers are generated by the vendor system in ascending order and cannot be chosen.

Ticket purchases are final once numbers are issued — rule 22 sets out the exceptions

Tax receipts cannot be issued for ticket purchases

Step 2 — confirm you can take part

Step 3 — complete your purchase

The button below opens the Foundation’s ticket platform, Raffle Nexus Canada Inc., at lwdhf5050.ca. It is a separate company operating an AGCO-approved electronic raffle system: it takes the payment, checks your location, generates your numbers and emails your official ticket. Your card details are never handled by this website.

A vital signs monitor on a stand beside a prepared operating table

Vital signs monitors of this kind are among the equipment bought for the hospital with the Foundation’s share of ticket sales.

Half to the winner, the rest to the hospital

Fifty per cent of ticket sales is paid to the Grand Prize winner. One hundred per cent of the Foundation’s share pays for capital medical equipment and technology at Lake of the Woods District Hospital — see what it has bought.
